ABOUT OUR TOY DRIVE
53 Years and Counting!
The Planting the Seed Foundation, now celebrating our 53rd anniversary, is dedicated to serving Worcester’s homeless children and their families.
We’ve focused on lifting vulnerable populations in the Worcester area through school supply drives, meal programs, and even certifications to help parents secure meaningful employment. One of our most cherished traditions is our annual Holiday Toy Drive & Celebration, which sparked the creation of our foundation so many years ago.

How to Participate
Celebrate With Us In Person
Thursday, December 11, 5:30 PM at Worcester Fitness, 440 Grove Street. Please bring a gift for children ages newborn to 18. Toys, books, gift cards, and other great gift ideas for children are welcome.
Refreshments, a cash bar, a DJ, and great raffle items will be available. We hope to see you there!
Visit Our Drop Box Locations
Please stop by any of our corporate business partners’ locations and drop your gifts off. Our team will visit every location and pick up all of the toys that have been collected.

Every year, the Planting the Seed Foundation organizes multiple events to create awareness about our mission, gather school supplies and holiday toy donations, and inspire financial contributions that enable us to run our organization effectively.
Events are announced on our website and our Facebook page.
We are 100% volunteer based with all funds directly supporting children and families in need.
Make your donation simply and effectively with our Amazon Wish List account. We’ll update the list of items we are most in need of, all you do is choose an item and check out.
Use your Facebook account to send an automatic donation to Planting the Seed Foundation. Donations can be “one-time” or set-up to be monthly deducted from your account.
